Electroacupuncture

​In EA, the strength of the stimulation of the acupuncture point is increased by running a small electrical current through the needles which encourages the release of natural opioids in the body. This stimulation is an effective treatment for chronic pain. EA can also be used to stimulate firing in a week muscle.

Neuropuncture

​Neuropuncture is a unique acupuncture system that incorporates neurophysiological mechanisms and the application of electrical acupuncture to create treatment protocols that are evidence based.  Neuropuncture principles can be applied to the diagnosis and treatment of pain cases, internal medicine cases, sports medicine and orthopedics. Neuropuncture is an extremely effective approach to modulating the nervous system and can be used to treat mental problems, insomnia, headaches and migraines etc.

Sound therapy uses instruments like tuning forks, bells, singing bowls and toning to promote wellness within the mind, body and soul.

While our bodies are made up of mostly water, the use of sound and vibration is an extremely effective treatment modality, yet subtle enough for anyone.  Treatments are based on Acupuncture meridians and utilizes traditional acupuncture points to assist in balancing your body's natural energy flow"Qi", removing stagnation and blocked energy thus promoting homeostasis (harmony) on all levels.

Reiki & Therapeutic Touch

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing that works with the body's subtle energies and the Chakra system.   By promoting balance in the Chakra system our bodies are better able to adjust and ​adapt to our daily lives. 

Each Chakra is associated with an are of the body, which affects our body systems as well as our energetic systems, affecting how we relate to life and to the people and situations that are part of it.

Reiki assists in promoting a deep sense of relaxation, allowing the body to release stress and tension.  It is an excellent treatment for people who are struggling with stress related symptoms, trauma, pain and those who are seeking spiritual awareness.

Community Acupuncture Clinics

Community Acupuncture Clinics are offered in an open space environment, similar to the way treatments are often provided in the East. 

Healing together offers many benefits that individual treatments are unable to provide.  Considering many people can be seen together, treatment costs can remain low.  This alone allows clients to participate more frequently which offers heightened benefits.  Acupuncture treatments are cumulative in nature, and more frequent visits are often required in the beginning of a treatment plan.  Community settings allow for convenient drop-in times alleviating the need to book appointments adding to our busy schedules.  It also allows an opportunity for clients to bring a family member or friend for support.  There is also a greater sense of healing that comes with the silent stillness of all those who are healing together.
