There are many different forms of Massage Therapy.

Depending on the situation, you may need deeper pressure, lighter pressure, more movement, heat therapy or perhaps you are seeking some time to yourself without the hustle and bustle of daily routine.

We would be pleased to help you feel more relaxed and rejuvenated with one of the massage options below.

Massage Therapy

We remain open with heightened protocols.
Please remember to self-check & reschedule appointments if you feel ill in any way.
Thank you for your ongoing support.

Therapeutic Massage

This form of massage caters a bit more specifically to the client.  Depending on your specific requirements different techniques can be applied during the treatment.  If you are unsure of what type of massage you are looking for, this is a great option.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is the most common style of massage for people who have chronic pain, tension, limited flexibility, sports injuries, stress or posture issues.  Deep tissue massage uses firmer pressure and slower strokes to assist in releasing deeper layers of muscle.

Myofascial Release Therapy

Myofascial release therapy (MFR) is the release of the connective tissue surrounding every tissue, muscle and organ of the body. When restricted, the connective tissue (known as fascia) can cause significant problems. Bad posture, repetitive movements and sport injuries can all cause fascial adhesions.  Leading to chronic pain and/or restriction in range of motion.

Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Yoga Massage is a relaxing and therapeutic treatment that is works with gentle movements of the body in ways that are very similar to traditional yoga.  The main difference here is that the client isn't the one doing the work.

While the client rests on a massage table, the practitioner moves the body for the client assisting in releasing fascia, allowing better joint mobility, assisting with muscle tension and moving energy through the body's energetic 'Sen' lines.

This is an amazing option for those who are experiencing limited range of motion in their shoulders or hips which is one of today's most common complaints.

These treatments are whole body focused and are done with clothing on so be sure to dress accordingly.  Yoga attire is perfect!

Cupping Massage is traditionally used in Acupuncture but is an excellent form of massage therapy.

It assists with releasing fascia and muscle tension as well as trigger points and assists with range of motion.  It is a great option for people who suffer with chronic tension or for those who want deep tissue release but without the pressure of deep tissue massage.
Cupping may also assist in other areas such as helping diminish scars, assistance with lung function and painful joints like disk issues and arthritis.

*Note that cupping can leave marks on the skin.  These marks are harmless and will dissipate over time.

Reflexology

Reflexology is an ancient healing technique believed to have originated as far back as 4,000 B.C.

Based on the theory that the whole body is reflected on the feet, reflexology stimulates & heightens the body's natural healing capabilities by stimulating these reflex points.  The treatment is not really a 'massage' so to speak but uses therapeutic pressure on the feet to stimulate the nerve endings and thus promote balance within the body systems.  This treatment is non-invasive and offers many benefits to the client which may include, pain relief, sleep assistance, improved circulation, elimination of toxins, improved nerve function and overall stress management.

Reflexology promotes a deep sense of relaxation and is a great treatment for stress relief and all over body wellness.
